TUSAL for March 2013

I decided it would be fun to participate in It's Daffycat's TUSAL (Totally Useless Stitch-a-Long) again this year.  So here is my first contribution...

I've been working on two projects... Carriage House Samplings' "Enchanted"
I changed the date on the pattern to a Bible verse that just kept running through my head while stitching this.  Luckily the verse used the same numbers that were originally on the pattern!

The larger of the two projects is Affinity's Riverbank Cottage.
This one is going to take me a while.  It's very much in the vein of the beautiful, but complicated, Heaven and Earth Design patterns.  It's solid.  So I'm breaking up the tedium by rotating a small project with the cottage project. I'll go back and forth like that till it's finished.

That's it for now.  If you are interested in participating in the TUSAL, head over to It's Daffycat and join the fun.

  1. So the TUSAL is why you've been saving those threads all this time? And here I thought they were just decorative! ;) Also, I like the color of those orange and yellow flowers. The toned down palette makes me think vintage.

  2. ..."and now you know the rest of the story"...
I'm glad you like the colors. It's what the pattern called for, but is reassuring coming from you!!
