I inherited some eating cucumbers from my neighbor's garden this weekend (thank you, neighbor!!). Among them were 2 or 3 rather large ones, which are always accompanied by rather large seeds.
I usually make Cucumbers in Sour Cream when I have this many to use. In the past, I've halved the large ones and carved them out with a spoon, but today as I was looking at them, I noticed that the seed core was about the same size as my apple corer! So...in an effort to save a little time I had to give it a try. And it worked!!
Just a goofy little discovery...but thought I'd toss it out there.
